SYNOPSIS
It’s just a pity that Mr. Grump didn’t collect too many karma points during his life on Earth. Because when he suddenly finds himself in a shopping mall after his death, in which you can buy a new life with exactly these points, he is forced to rethink his entire attitude towards life.

DIRECTOR’S BIO
Eric Giessmann is a highly skilled director known for his expertise in creating animated short films and specialised VR content. He has received international recognition through multiple awards for his work. Giessmann founded Studio LAVAMACHINE, where he combines his passion for classical painting with digital techniques. This unique blend of traditional and contemporary artistry allows him to explore new possibilities in storytelling and artistic expression.
One of his notable projects is Sand Wanderer (2016-2017), which earned him the prestigious Dutch wildcard prize for the best student film. This accolade highlights Giessmann’s talent and ability to craft compelling narratives through animation.
Piers Goffart is a skilled artist with a background in creating short comics and illustrations. In 2018, he shifted his focus to VR animation and directing short animated films, leveraging his previous knowledge of storytelling and comedy to excel in this new field.
Piers’s filmography includes Isaacs Chamber (2010), Time Machine (2018), A Live with Ci (2019) and What time is it? (2022).
