Twenty-five centuries ago, a congregation of accomplished disciples gathered to review their Master’s teachings, beginning their recollections with the famous line: “Thus Have I Heard”. Through this oral tradition and later with the help of written and printed media, the Buddha’s words brought peace and happiness to people from all walks of life in the diverse societies of Asia.

The Organiser
Dharma In Action (DIA) was formed in February 2008 as an informal gathering of energetic and enthusiastic Buddhists working together to promote fellowship and Buddhism as a lifestyle in Singapore.
By February 2009, it was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee with the vision to support and promote Buddhist lifestyle for the betterment of mankind and society. DIA focuses on organizing non-profit activities and educational programmes.
Ultimately, DIA’s mission is to enhance the Buddhist community fellowship by fostering cross collaborations through innovative programmes.
